They call her “Isidra Gadget” and there is a good reason for that. At a recent New Media symposium at USC radio hosts, elected officials and newspaper editors credited her with exposing them personally to the web and social media. Once they started, others chimed in. Comfortable in both PC and Mac environments, she had produced podcasts, blogs and has had Face book and Twitter accounts early on. She teaches her clients about the world of technology and then sets them up so they too can keep up. You don’t want your customer base to pass you by! She has exposed students early on to the computers in the classroom, a move which in turn forced their teachers to learn and many have sung her praises. When she teaches, she encourages each of her students to have a blog so they can express themselves in this digital age.

Isidra loves to try new technologies, such as shooting and editing video on her iPhone or streaming live from her cell phone for events others want to share. Case in point: her son, Jaaye, recently passed the California State Bar. She broadcast the swearing in on U-Stream so his brother Ayo, who lives in Germany, could experience it.”

And two days earlier when my cousin Charis got married to her incredible husband Terry, and streamed the wedding, we used Cover it Live.com along with U-Stream to chat with other attendees like me in Los Angeles who could not attend the Virginia Wedding. http://risingsons.tumblr.com/post/623204757/charis-and-terrys-wedding
