When Isidra began to be drafted into web design by her clients, she learned that video enhanced websites and made them that much more compelling. Early on, she hired pros, because their equipment, lenses, lighting, etc. was superior, but for web video things changed drastically within the last few years. She purchased a tape camera and continued to learn how to squeeze the videos to be placed online, but today, even a good point-and-shoot has HD video in it, even a smartphone has the capability of uploading Net-ready video. As she acquired an HD flip cam, she began to learn editing and enough to get the story told. For corporate jobs, she still will point you to deadline-oriented, experienced professionals that will get the job done.
But to satisfy her journalistic hunger to tell stories, her personal posts are like vlogs. She started “Walking and Talking in L.A.” when she received her first Kodak Zi6 (She now used the Zi8). She also uses “My World Podcast” on occasion or simply makes webisodes for clients promoting events or products.
